With pride, emotion and immense gratitude, we would like to thank Ms Grażyna Grabowska, co-founder and long-standing President of the Management Board of Targi w Krakowie Ltd., who is now beginning a new chapter in her life as she enters her well-deserved retirement. This is a unique moment – a symbolic end to an era, but also a beautiful beginning of a new adventure.
For nearly three decades, Ms Grażyna has co-created not only Targi w Krakowie Ltd. with passion, vision and extraordinary energy, but has also had a huge impact on the development of the entire Polish trade fair market. Her professionalism, courage and openness have earned her respect both within and outside the industry.
Grażyna is a graduate of Polish philology and film studies at the Jagiellonian University, as well as postgraduate studies in public relations. She began her professional career in the media - from 1990 to 1993, she was the head of the culture department and deputy editor-in-chief of the Krakow branch of Gazeta Wyborcza. Then, from 1993 to 1996, she headed the advertising department at CRACOW EXPO CENTER.
She is a co-founder of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and the Polish Association of Trade Fair Organisers. For many years, she has been actively involved in the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry, first as a member of the Audit Committee, then as a member of the Council, and since 2015 as its vice-president.
She has received many awards for her work, including the ‘Meritorious for Polish Culture’ badge, the Silver Cross of Merit, the ‘Honoris Gratia’ order and the badge for Merits for the Development of the Economy.
Now it is time for films, jazz, genealogical discoveries and well-deserved relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Dear Grażyna, thank you for everything. Targi w Krakowie Ltd. will always have your passion, class and heart in its DNA.
