A unique silver anniversary: the 25th edition of KRAKDENT
The recent edition of the KRAKDENT® International Dentistry Trade Show was absolutely exceptional in every way! As many as 406 companies presented their product portfolios. For three days, the eyes of more than a dozen thousand representatives of the dental industry were firmly set on EXPO Kraków. There are ample grounds for believing that last year’s record turnout was exceeded; exact figures are not yet available, since we are still counting the invitations and the tickets that were sold. A presentation of what’s new in the industry, foreign economic missions, the prestigious Dental Spaghetti Congress, a special edition of Krakdent-edu and the festive atmosphere of the anniversary – all these combine to confirm the statement that we have just had the best KRAKDENT® International Dentistry Trade Show thus far.
Business in select company
The anniversary edition of the trade show hosted 406 Exhibitors, including many foreign companies from countries such as Belgium, China, Finland, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy and the US.
Prized (and well-priced) innovations
Each year, several dozen Polish and foreign companies presenting innovative dental products vie for the KRAKDENT® Top Quality Medal. This prestigious competition has now become a permanent fixture on the agenda. This year’s medals were awarded during a festive gala held on the first day of the trade show.
The jury also awarded a general educational achievement prize to Targi w Krakowie Sp. z o.o. for the organization of KRAKDENT®.
Special distinctions went to companies that have continually exhibited at the trade show over the past 25 years.
KRAKDENT® is not limited to presenting what’s new in the industry. The event also boasts a rich educational section. It is the training seminars, presentations and lectures held within the framework of Krakdent-edu and the Dental Spaghetti Congress that serve as the greatest attraction for many visitors. The exhibition and the educational section perfectly complement each other, making it possible to learn about technological innovations, acquire new knowledge and enhance one’s qualifications. The great popularity of the educational component of Krakdent is attested to by the fact that one week before the event even kicked off, nearly all places on the training seminars had already been booked!
For the 7th time, the trade show was accompanied by the DENTOPOMOCY charity campaign. Twenty exhibitors donated dental products that will go to orphanages and foster families across Małopolska.
